"It's 110 miles to Chicago, we have a full tank of gas, half a packet of cigarettes, it is dark and we are wearing sunglasses." "HIT IT " I would say that the car chase from "The Blues Brothers" is one of the greatest ever; lots of car crashes, guns, no stupid explosions. What are your favorite car chases(any medium)? |

I think I prefer the chase in the mall. I really like it when the guy at the Toys-R-Us asks if they have a Miss Piggy doll just before Jake and Elwood crash through. |

In no particular order: Opening chase in Mad Max...MFP vs Nightrider Road Warrior...pretty much the whole movie Blues Brothers...'nuff said. I esp like Elwood taking his hat off to the Monaco when the finally make it to the tax office, shades of Steve McQueen patting the motorcycle when he almost makes it to Switzerland. Gone In 60 Seconds..the original |

Quoted: Vanishing Point, the whole movie. Yea, " Vanishing Point " . Hell Yea!! His name was Kowalski. [8P] Bullett= #1 Ever see a movie called " The Driver " with Ryan O'neal? [:)] Movies with a lot of shit talking , or other action going on during the chase like " Bad Boys II ", don't play as well. A good chase needs no words. |

I guess i've seen Bullitt, too many times. Did any else notice that when they were coming down the hill and loose the hub cap-they use the same scene about seven times. Same hubcap, same VW parked on the corner, same everything. Once you see it, the chase looses some of its pizzazz. The French connection would get my vote for most tense. |
