Anyone have some plans they can send me for building a gun rack?  I've searched the internet and can't find anything other than gun cabinets.  Anyone creative enough (and bored enough) to draw one up for me, with measurements?

I built a portable/collapsible one a few years ago.  I saw a photo of one in the last few pages of Shotgun News and copied it.

Lately I just take a 2x6" board and make 8-10 cutouts for rifles.  Then clamp that to a table I take to the range.  Simple/portable/light gunrack.

That's nice, but the idea was to be cheap and build my own.  I've got the skills and the tools.  Just need some plans.

You don't need any stinkin plans. [:)]  Just look at the top photo on the page jrzy posted.  The folding vertical gun stand.  That is what I looked at and I built the same identical stand.  It wasn't that hard, even with my limited skill.

If you need any further plans than that pic then I don't think you'll be able to build a gun rack.  I have 3 of those.  All three took me an hour to build total.

[mike meyers]A gun rack?  I don't even own a gun, let alone many guns which would necessitate a gun rack... what am I gonna do with a gun rack?[/mike meyers]

Sorry.  Just watched Wayne's World.

This is the exact same method I use when I go to local shoots or somewhere like Bulletfest.

I've been looking at that for a while now, and it probably wouldn't be that hard.  The website gives the length, the rest shouldn't be too hard to figure out.  It doesn't have to be perfect.

Thanks guys.
