It's not a new season, it's still season 7. They took a break halfway to try figure out if there will be a season 8. It will be a darn shame if SG1 is not picked up for a season 8. The show's premise is good enough that it could survive. IMHO, the governments of Earth wouldn't unite until they were nuking our cities from orbit, and we wouldn't have the technology to touch their ships, and no time to develop the technology. Assuming tactics similair to the Goa'uld, at best, we do have lots of people and lots of guns, so they'd need an awful lot of Jafaa to do anything but slaughter us from space. BTW, I think the episode where Teal'c is amazed by a watch is the second episode of the first season. |
