What piece of Current day earth technology convinced T'Ulk to defy his false god and through in with the Ta Ri?  Hint, this piece of technology convinced him that the people of earth were sufficiently advanced to take on the Goa'uld.

Now, should the events in stargate come to pass, and the earth were threatened by an aggressor Alien species, would the earth unite in a single government to combat the threat, and how would arfcommers react to this worldwide union?

edit: since shotar, put another question up.

i cannot see the goverment working as a team for anything. it would be a majior problem. as for this ar15 member i would love to have some of the alien tech, but as bad as my luck would run i would end up with a snake in my head. Ronald

Where, exactly, in the series is Teal'c bedazzeled by a watch?   I don't recall seeing this.

It's not a new season, it's still season 7.
They took a break halfway to try figure out if there will be a season 8.

You can go to http://www.savedanieljackson.com and get the lowdown and spoilers.

If there is a season 8 there will be some major changes.

It will be a darn shame if SG1 is not picked up for a season 8. The show's premise is good enough that it could survive.
The Stargate is the star of the show, unlike The X-Files where it was all David Duchovny.

IMHO, the governments of Earth wouldn't unite until they were nuking our cities from orbit, and we wouldn't have the technology to touch their ships, and no time to develop the technology.

Assuming tactics similair to the Goa'uld, at best, we do have lots of people and lots of guns, so they'd need an awful lot of Jafaa to do anything but slaughter us from space.

BTW, I think the episode where Teal'c is amazed by a watch is the second episode of the first season.

I hope Stargate Atlantis doesn't turn out to be another dud spinoff.  I fear sci-fi channel has a way with ruining things.
