Tyreek Hill is under investigation for another incident of violence. Sounds like he broke his kid’s arm.

If KC had right away suspended Hunt indefinitely, instead of cutting him, and then waited for the league to hand down it's punishment, would he have got credit for time served...something like 5 games? In that case he would only have a short suspension to start next season and the Chiefs would still have him.

The Dolphins lose their starting QB with no promising replacement and their Super Bowl odds remain unchanged.

Quoted: It makes sense. That guy is a cheat code. If he gets a clean release from the LoS, he’s gone, and Mahomes can hit him from pretty much anywhere on the field. If Hill is gone, WR1 is Sammy Watkins. View Quote I'm curious to see if they cut Hill, and what the mental gymnastics are for cutting Hunt and not Hill when they don't. I'm sure they will claim it's because Hunt lied about it, but tapping some dumb broad vs assaulting a kid is a pretty big difference... |
|
Yeah, Tyreek Hill plays the "Randy Moss" character in KC's offense. The kind of WR that truly does keep opposing coaching staffs up at night, trying to figure out a way to minimize his effect on the game. He's the guy that makes all the other guys on offense look better because he's getting so much attention. When Hunt was also in the mix, it was close to impossible to effectively limit what the Chiefs did on offense. When Hunt was removed from the equation, it did affect the offense because his replacement wasn't the monster Hunt was, although Hill was still there creating opportunities for everybody else, which mitigated the downgrade at RB a little bit.
Losing Hill wouldn't cripple the KC offense, but it would pretty much relegate it to "very good" rather than "exceptional." As far as how things in the AFC might shake out if Hill isn't part of the plan in Kansas City, people are forgetting about the Colts. They were a quality team in '18 and appear to have improved this offseason. They will most likely be one of the four teams left alive by the Divisional round of the AFC playoffs in '19 and just might be contenders for the Super Bowl outright. Don't laugh, but I also think the Jets will give opposing teams heartburn, too. |

I guess there is a lot of confusion about what is and is not being investigated.
There is a rumor the broken arm happened months ago. This is the latest: "Officers were previously called to that same address on March 5 to investigate a report of child abuse or neglect. Hill’s name is directly listed on that report. According to Overland Park police, the original report was closed three days later when prosecution was declined. Hill’s name is not listed on the most recent battery report, but his address is the listed location." https://www.kctv5.com/news/police-investigate-incidents-of-suspected-child-abuse-at-home-of/article_21d5fb58-4737-11e9-9d0d-e781fc6fd330.html The various comments sections on Twitter, AP, and elsewhere seem sold on the idea that it's the mother under investigation this time. It's not really a surprise that this household is so dysfunctional, but I feel bad for the kid. |

Though it is kinda funny when you consider all the shit Beckham was doing while on his "best behavior" trying to get a deal done. Didn't matter though. Giants gave him his massive contract not long after the video came out anyway. |

Redskins signed Flowers from the Giants. With all the injuries on the line past two years a back up tackle is necessary.
Edit: I didn’t realize he was a jag last season. |
