A decent gun dealer sould be able to help you. J/K I've heard Robar does great work.

Google up Walt Birdsong and call him. First rate finish for a 1st rate gun. Man do I miss my P7

I was going to suggest Arizona Response Systems; they will parkerize, but I suggest their Metacol III finish: http://www.arizonaresponsesystems.com/finish/pagefinishgallery.htm On second thought, though, just send it to me and I'll take care of it. Might take me a few years to completely wear off the old finish, though.

I would be concerned that the parkerizing might clog up the gasport. That is unless they pull the barrel from the frame first with is a major PITA. I would talk to Mark Graham and see what he says, last I heard he is the only HK authorized refinisher in the states.

Another vote for Robar but I would decline the parkerizing option, IMO.

The biggest issue I've found in getting anything done is how long it take to get your gun back.
