It has to be at least 4 years old if it doesn't have a USB port. Even if you get a USB card you will find that your computer is lacking in power when it comes to digital pictures. You can get a pretty decent computer for $500 now. |
| when you buy your pci usb card, i would pick up a media reader as well. this will let you just plug your camera's media (compact flash, memory stick etc.) directly into the reader and use it like a drive. much much easier than using the software that and systems for downloading from the camera itself. |
