Well, it looks as if that plank of plywood is about to finsh butt-fucking his former running mate Joe Leiberman by endorsing Howard Dean.

Not that I give a rat's ass about old Joe, but Gore's move doesn't surprise me one bit.

Now, is anyone here the least bit worried about Dean? Everyone knoes he's a screaming liberal, and that's he's making no bones about it. Still, does he actually have a chance to pull off a Klinton and get his sorry ass elected?

Hmmmmmmm...... [:\]

Yeah,he has a good chance of going all the way.Dean caters to the gimmee freebee folks who WANT the Government to take care of them,i.e.Sheeple.Useless 4F skiing bastard.

I think the guy is just plain nuts. I can't but expect that somewhere back there is a secretary he slapped silly or a string of them he drove away in tears. I'll be interested to see if (as I suspect) he degenerates into spit-slinging rants when under pressure - sort of like Muskie crying in the snow. As volatile as he seems, I don't think he'll make it to November without a scary public display of some sort.

Need you ask that question? Sorry I have a bad habit of answering questions with a question. Saw him on the news the other day. Seems he thinks governors' records should be kept secret. Well fuck him. Fucktard.

Dean has to out liberal his opponents to get the nomination. His fatal weakness is that he, out of all the candidates, will be the least likely to be able to convince the voting public (read: swing voters) that he is a moderate during the general election. This is compounded by the fact that GW is not a conservative cut from the Haig or Thrumond cloth, and thus is not driving swing voters away.

Dean's campaign will fizzle. Wesley Clark will get the nod and may even defeat Bush. Seeing how pissed off Kerry is getting about it all would be worth the price of admission but, better yet, it's free!

90% of democrats i've heard on tv or talked to at school (ie all my liberal professors) say dean is the worst candidate the dems. could put against our President

Dean needs to not have sex with a few butt-ugly gals from Arkansas to insure his election.
Link Posted: 12/8/2003 3:02:10 PM EDT
C'mon! Clark was DOA the day he started running! Dean has it wrapped up, if you ask me. I agree with DriftPunch though (!!!), in that Dean has gone SO far left (and continues to go, I might add) that he's never going to get the middle back, no matter what his position on the AWB is... Still, I wish he were more of a dullard like Mondale. I really hope Bush creams him in the next election, if only to put this "ilegitimate" BS to rest.

Did they give you any reasons for why THEY think that way?

i don't think clark is liberal enough, the trend for their party has been to push left, Dean looks pretty invincible among dems right now

isn't gore part of the clinton bunch? i heard one guy theorize the the clintons think dean can't win and thus want him elected so billary can run in 08

Dean's going to stumble. I can see it coming. I stand by my prediction...

Well, on that theory Gore should have come out for Al Sharpton, or maybe Groucho Marx. [;D]

Well, even if he doesn't, it won't surprise me if Clark runs as Dean's VP, if only to offset the decisive pro-military advantage the GOP and GWB has. I don't think that'll work, though...

and Gore will endorse Dean....

Any Vermont people out there have a comment? I was under the impression that when it comes to guns, Dean was not too bad (not that he wouldn't sell that down the river).

All nine of the Democrats running for the nomination are turds. It doesn't matter who they choose to run against President Bush. Whoever it is, is going to get his/her ass handed to them.

What socialist scheme would Dean do that Bush hasn't/wouldn't do?? What anti-gun legislation would Dean sign, that Bush hasn't said/or wouldn't sign?? Lessee, what's the difference again??? [:P] Oh yeah!!! One has a "dum" behind his name, the other has a "dee", behind his!!! [ROFL2] Both of 'em have the same FIRST name...[;D] It's Tweedely!!!! [snoopy] [devil]

In polling amongst liberals, they do well. In polling amongst conservatives, they don't. In polling amongst city dwellers, they do well, but in polling amongst rural voters they do poorly. What's the moral of the story? WE'RE SICK OF ALL THOSE DAMN POLLS.

Liberty, I've noticed you have a rather sour opinion of any and all Democrats and Republicans. Why is that? And also, if you favor one of the other partys out there, what makes their beliefs any more worthy than say a Republican or a Democrat? I'm just curious as to why you feel the way you do about the two major partys.

Ah, SHIT! NOW you've gone and done it! [peep] I'll save you the effort: Go to [url]http://www.ConstitutionParty.com[/url]. They are the be-all and end-all in Duncan's political world. With a few exceptions, they are spot-on. Unfortunately, where they are off, they are WAY off. I'd give them my vote IF a) doin so wouldn't guarantee a Democrat victory, and b) they adjusted the few positions they are WAY off on. For this, I am called a neo-con, a socialist, and a communist by some... [rolleyes]

People need to get it through their heads: DEAN IS NOT PRO-GUN!!! I've heard him say he supports the AWB. That is hardly "pro-gun". Then again, Bush SAYS he'd sign a renewal. Go figure..... Aw hell, never mind. (but Dean is NOT pro-gun)
Link Posted: 12/8/2003 4:45:06 PM EDT
Dean is living proof that God supports the Republicans. Wes Clark doesn't stand a snowball's chance in a sauna of being nominated. John Kerry can't shake the fact that he voted with Bush in favor of the war in Iraq, so now Kerry can't use an anti-war platform. The liberals don't even take him seriously since he faked throwing his war medals over the Whitehouse fence. 2004 still worries me, but 2008 scares the chit out of me.
