Damn, dude, I feel for you...

I know from firsthand experience that a boat is a hole in the water that you throw money into!

Main Hobby= Shooting, anything and everything, bows, flintlocks, modern military, whatever.

Secondary=Motorcycle (ninja) riding, god, i love speed!

Tertiery=fishing.  Mostly bass but trout, too.  which covers the canoeing part also as a means to an end.

- High Power Rocketry.

- Photography

- Ice and inline hockey.

- Geocaching when I find the extra time.

Wish I had more time/cash for:

I second that, to a point.

I can't stand contesting and won't do it.  I don't see any point in seeing how many different people you can contact just for points.

I'm definitely a rag chewer, instead.  I want to TALK to people, not just swap call signs and find somebody else to swap call signs with.

But to each his own, I guess.

My big problem is that I'm an elitist when it comes to radio gear.  While a 200 dollar Yaesu or ICOM HT will get the job done, I won't buy one.  I much prefer the 3000 dollar Motorola flagship products instead, like the Astro Saber III, which has many features that can't even be used in the amateur service, but what is usable in the ham bands performs exceptionally well.

I just like having equipment that's on the cutting edge of technology, and rugged as hell, to boot.

A hobby?  You mean just one?  HA!!!  I would list them but I don't want to be permanently banned from the site for using way more than my share of bandwidth.
