Just watched the 2nd season of Goliath. It was really good...but it sort of drug in a couple places. It's worth a watch.

Bosch is great. Strike Back is decent, and binge watching 24 is a hoot...especially if you were a member here when it was first shown on TV. It got an ongoing thread like LivePD does now.

It won’t let me buy any more seasons of “Lovejoy” for whatever reason.

“Fortitude” is quite good, I’m on episode 3.

“Treasure Island”, “John Adams”, are quite good.

Sneaky Pete was great, the pilot was really good but I was afraid they'd fall into the "scheme of the week" trap that a lot of TV shows in a similar genre do, but then when the full season came out they did a really good job of totally not doing that.

Plus it's pretty cool to see some Justified alumni together in the same series again.

Yes, almost through season 1.  It's good.

Jack's Apocalypse is heavily based on Alas Babylon, but with a twist at the end.  This version of the main character is a good deal more messed up than Randy in the book, and the movie is half SHTF problem solving/half painful detoxing.  It's an independent medium-low budget flick, but with just enough money apparent on screen, good acting and writing.  No firearms politics, guns are neutral.  His brother's wife/probable widow is a good looking woman.

Band of Brothers, The Pacific, and the first two seasons of The Expanse, The Dukes of Hazzard are all up.  Bosch, man In the high Castle, Parks and Recreation, 3rd Rock From The Sun (funniest sitcom ever)

I liked The Dawns Here Are Quiet, Russian WWII miniseries about a female crewed anti-aircraft battery on the backside of nowhere that runs into a German commando raid.

Rememory, good psychological mystery/sci fi movie with Peter Dinklage and Anton Yelchin.  Like a long Black Mirror episode.

The original, badass 1974 Gone In 60 Seconds

The Director's Cut of Troy with my favorite duel scene ever, Achilles vs. Hector

Spaceballs, enough said.

Bound, one of the sexier movies ever (Jennifer Tilly and Gina Gershon)

Could I interest you in a naughty nuns comedy set in 1300's Italy staring Alison Brie and Aubrey Plaza?  The Little Hours  Most of the nudity falls on Kate Micucci, but still.

The Conversation with Gene Hackman as a private surveillance wizard who stumbles across a murder plot.  Had a bunch of bleeding edge 1973 tech and Teri Garr naked.

The Butcher of Prague, story of the sole adult male survivor of the massacre of Lidice following Heydrich's assassination (he was in prison for murder)

The Eagle Has Landed, Micheal Caine and his hell raising German commando company infiltrate a small English town to assassinate Churchill

Brawl in Cell Block 99, Vince Vaughn, cartels, ultra-violence.

I didn't know that there was a director's cut of Troy until you mentioned it.  Went to watch it on Amazon.  It is not available on Prime.

It was there, but it got removed after a bit.

It had a lot more violence, the pillaging of Troy was more brutal.

“House in haunted hill” with Vincent Price is one of best horror movies I’ve seen.

“Grounded for life” was a funny show, “throw mama from the train” is awesome comedy & Kate Mulgrew was hot in her prime.

“American Gothic” was good but not a comedy.

I didn’t say it was a John Ford Classic, I said ARFCOMMERS will love it.

Lots of black rifle porn, and gear porn.  And Sid Phillips from THE PACIFIC is in it.

Watching "Frozen" right now.

Potheads get stuck on the chairlift.  A little slow in spots, but it's got wolves.   Fairly decent movie.

“Battle for Sevastopol” is great, I was concerned it’d be nothing but a lot of SJW stuff but it’s enjoyable.

Though it is fictional.... I wish I could find me a beautiful sniper woman...

That scene where he had to use his weak hand to draw a perfect circle on the overhead projector had me rolling.  Also the look on his face when he had to push the other engineer, again.

Weird show - depressing, hilarious, depressing, hilarious, and on and on.

It's quirky but I really liked it.  It flew under the radar though, I never hear anyone talk about it.

Handmaiden is a Period crime drama from the director of Old Boy .

Kind of Hitchkockian, with the same story told three times, through the eyes of each of the protagonists.

Nothing is what it seems.

The best hot lesbian scissoring scene this side of porn. Actually, better than porn.
