I picked up a used one yesterday for $150.  It came complete with 4 shell plates, 10 pack of die adapters, and a case activated powder charge.  I think I did OK since the cheapest new one I could find was for $329.  I have never used a Progressive press before and was wondering if you guys had any tips or tricks or had used this press before.

Thanks,
Echap

Well I have used it for awhile now, and thought I would post some thought on it.  I really like it.  Can really crank out the rds. I cranked out 300 .223 one night without planning on running that many.  Only loaded for a hour and that was lubing each case.  The pistol ammo works the best with Carbide dies.  I have loaded more 357 and 44 Mag ammo than I can remember.  I think I have enough to last all summer.  It's a blast and I really don't feel like I am rushing it all.  I even did some 30-06 on it to see it I could and although I had a few problems with stuck cases (not enough lube) it worked great.  I am not sure I'll every use my trusty old RCBS Jr. 3 again.  I like the Progressive.  This thing is build like a tank, has lot's of leverage and operates very smooth.

Thanks for the heads up Echap.

I'm purchasing my first home so I'll be walling off part of my garage to have a work bench to reload with.

I was in the market for a progressive reloader so once again, thanks for the heads up.

Sounds like you did pretty well. The only problem with your deal was it didn't say DILLON [:D] j/k sounds like you got a good buy. I'd have gone for it myself and i already have a press.
