Was she arrested and charged with a crime? Probably not.
Yet today, in Connecticut a 15 year old boy was arrested for saying, in school, that he could buy an AR15. The teacher/principal admitted he never threatened anyone or anything. He just said he could buy one and that got him arrested and charged with (something like) 2nd degree assault/making threats. Hopefully his parent will get a good lawyer and force the school district to lay off the board, administrators and principal sorry enough to support calling the cops and having the kid arrested. Sometimes I find it hard to believe the American Revolution started in New England. Perhaps it like some say around here (VA). If it weren't for people like Patrick Henry making speeches (and raiding British stores of powder) to set an example for those in New England, maybe the war would have started farther south. As it was, the war finally stalled up north and the action moved to the south where the British Army was outfought, outflanked and finally beaten into submission here in Virginia. Not trying to start an argument, just saying that New England is pretty darned sorry these days with gun laws, moronic law makers (dem/lib/socialist stronghold) and the people that keep them in office election after election. |
