ATLANTA (AP) — Arby’s is buying casual dining chain Buffalo Wild Wings in a deal worth about $2.4 billion. Arby’s Restaurant Group Inc. said Tuesday that it will pay $157 per share. That’s a 7 percent premium to Buffalo Wild Wings Inc.’s Monday closing price of $146.40. The companies put the transaction’s value at $2.9 billion, including debt. Once the deal closes Buffalo Wild Wing will become a privately held subsidiary of Arby’s and will continue to operate as an independent brand. The deal is expected to close in 2018's first quarter. It still needs the approval of Buffalo Wild Wings shareholders. Shares of Buffalo Wild Wings jumped more than 6 percent in premarket trading. |

Maybe they will take down the, gun free zones , signs at our now, so I can go there.

I bet if you took the meat off hot wings and put on a beef and cheddar it would be pretty good.
Pizza Hut microwave wings are better than no ones. Just nasty. |

This is a horrible move if arby's thinks they are going to make money with BWW

We actually just got a BWW near me in Quakertown, PA. We've had an Arby's for years.
I did a yelp review search for BWW to see if it was worth going to and the reviews were pretty terrible....does anyone actually think the are good? The BWW near me took over the space that Friendly's Ice Cream had for years and years. |

That's funny, I was sitting at a place across from a BWW yesterday wondering how they were doing because I won't set foot in one and they don't seem to be as busy as they were at first judging by the parking lot.

BWW is nasty but Pizza Huts wings are the size of parakeet wings and just as shitty. https://www.ar15.com/images/smilies/smiley_abused.gif View Quote View All Quotes View All Quotes Quoted:

BWW is nasty. Pizza Hut has better wings. |

If they didn't have 878 TV's in every BWW, they would have been out of business years ago.
Just like Hooters... the food is shit but people go there because there's something to watch. |

BWW is disgusting. That being said, just about ever single sandwich Arbys has right now is amazing. Maybe the executive team can turn BWW around. Oh, and if you haven't tried Arbys cajun deep fried turkey sandwich......you're missing bliss on a bun.

BW3 consistently has the worst service of any restaurant chain I've ever encountered. I've had horrible experiences in more than one state.

Their food sucks and their service is terrible. I’ve never been to a wing place that serves hot as fuck wings but only comes around every 30 mins to refill your water. Ask for a pitcher of water and they’ll tell you to fuck off too. That and consistently undercooked wings. Hopefully Arby’s turns them around, improves the food, and fires the shitty help.

There wings are good. They went through a spell years ago where their wings got smaller, and shittier looking pieces. You can order them cooked however you like too. But they are too expendive to enjoy. A full wing should be the drum and flat. And not for $2 fucking dollars.

Arby's seems to be pro hunting anyway. Every year my local Arby's have venison sandwiches during hunting season. View Quote View All Quotes View All Quotes |

I love their boneless wings, and just walk right past their no gun sign as the one they have posted isn't enforceable under KY state law anyway

I think the only thing I ever had in that joint was a grilled chicken sandwich, and it wasn't half bad either. View Quote View All Quotes View All Quotes |

Interesting purchase. Wonder what their plan for it is. View Quote Hard to say with an acquisition. Almost 20 years ago, McDonald's bought Boston Market and primarily because the purchase price essentially allowed them to pay for the restaurants, and get the valuable real estate that restaurants sat on for free. I'm not saying that's the reason here, just that there doesn't always have to be an apparent synergy of the two companies combining their product lines. |

Now I am really curious what you folks consider good wings.
They should be cooked enough to be crispy on the outside. The sauce should be spicy enough to make your lips numb after 3-4 wings but not spicy enough to make your fingers numb. |
|
Tuesday is half-price wing day. Not overpriced then. I may go there for lunch.
Not the best wings, but they're fine. Or at least the cooks here know how to make them right. |

You mean you like chicken nuggets. View Quote Bone in wings are not much cheaper, have far less meat, and it's lower quality. Eat whatever makes you happy. I never eat in BWW, I always get a to go order and then take it home or to my buddies bar down the street to eat. Makes it much cheaper when you aren't paying for drinks there. |
