The really cool ones have cost more that the base rifle..and they are aluminum and plastic

my kid is shooting 3 gun with me now and loving it. He has been shooting my PS90 and doing well with that, but not allowed to engage close targets with it due to velocity of the round. They have a .22 class but he has a hard time shooting my 10.22 unsupported.
I dont mind dropping some money on a conversion if it's a good one. what's out there? |

High tower armory is the best production bullpup kit for a 10/22

Google "Electronic Arms 10/22 Bullpup"
 It will cost you as much as a very nice AR though.

Most of those 10/22 conversions are cheesy and cheap ass if you hold one. The only decent one IMO is the '10/22 M1 carbine', provided you use a real M1 carbine stock and modified mags along with tech-sights. like this:
Don't use an 'M1 carbine conversion kit', instead go to Numrich and buy the real M1 carbine parts and it will turn out much nicer, though it takes more work. |

thanks, the PS90 one would seem to be a natural, as he already shoots that, but that last one looked sexy too. Ill have to read up on them.

If I understand correctly Ackleys defense is making the Red Jacket design. I think ZK22. I came across it sometime ago on Brownells website. It looked pretty sharp but not something I needed. This might not be true now as I haven't looked in awhile.

As much as I hate Red Jacket, they came up with this and it's kinda neat... Don't know if it's $300 neat...

I have a HTA kit, and got an integrated supressor for it. nice and compact, plus quiet.
