I'm pretty open minded and cut artists some slack but after her last dust up a few years ago, I just can't play her music anymore. She used to be my favorite.

I thought she drowned herself way back in Blue Bayou.

I never “listened” to her anyway. Once in a while a song comes on the radio.

Dunno about Weinstein, but probably Jerry Brown back in the 70s.

I like this song but that's it. For some reason it makes me think of Kurt Russell in that Captain Ron movie.

Linda Ronstadt - Blue Bayou

Hot body, velvet voice.

But she was bat shit wacky as far back as the Stone Poney's.

I never really cared for her music. There's nothing objectively wrong with it, it just doesn't turn my crank is all.

I bet she swallowed more than a few loads from Moonbeam.

Anymore? Linda Ronstadt hasn't been relevant for almost 40 years.

Back in the 70's I told my wife that I loved her but if Linda called, I was out of here.  That was before she plumpted out.  I still like her old music, though.

Her voice doesn’t sound near as good when you visualize Moonbeams jizz dripping off her lips.

I heard she has Parkinson's and can no longer sing.  OP--what is this in reference to?

I was going to post the same thing. She has been unable to sing since 2012 due to the Parkinson's disease. She is in pretty bad shape.

On the other hand, every guy I knew in college had this album. And usually not for the music. (Hey, we didn't have the internet or HBO yet)

Nothing really. I saw her live back in the day and she delivered the goods. A owned just about all her albums including the Stone Poneys. I just had the radio in the car on and one of her songs came on and I seriously thought about changing the channel. She is just so far left, it's ruined the music. I guess I reached my BS limit with her?

Never married, which is OK but she was in the music business meeting hundreds of guys and never got too far with any of them. I guess if everybody is tired of your shit, you might want to re-evaluate yourself.
