Cheapest I have bought Wolf Gold for was $250/1000 incl. shipping a few months ago at Sportsmans when some coupons stacked. This would be $220 incl. tax after the rebate for brass ammo. Cheapest I have seen.

Someone posted on Reddit that they got a Mossberg 930 that was on clearance last year at $299, For $139. Same price difference as the lever action.
And that was my pic of the Suprema birdshot. I checked brickseek about an hour after my purchase and it updated the quantity. Not sure how fast it takes to update. |

The only thing so just found in my local was the 5 round boxes of Winchester 12 gauge 00 buck in the plain brown box ("mil spec" buckshot) for $1 a box. $0.20 a round for 00 seemed like an okay deal do I bought 19 boxes.

The only thing they had at my local Walmart were boxes of Federal 12 gauge bird shot for a $1.50 a box. I bought all 22 boxes they had. I got the third degree from the lady at the checkout. She was asking why I needed so much ammo and if I was going to shoot someone. She then had someone come and check with management if she could sell that much ammo to one person. Even after she was told yes by management, she called the sporting goods department to check as well. She really didn't want to sell it to me. Finally a manager came over to the checkout and told her "yes sell it to him."
Hopefully the thought of me having that much ammo will cause her to cry her little liberal eyes to sleep, and possibly scar her for life. |

I'd sure love to find some of that 300 win mag. I'd buy it all.
|
|
|
I'll check tomorrow when I get up there but I doubt we'll see that around here.
Last big round of clearances here in MT, half of the stuff mentioned wasn't on sale here. Had them scan barcodes and everything. Optics were, about half of the ammo. None of the guns though. Maybe it depends, that stuff sells quicker in MT so they didn't clearance it out? |

Shitbirds cleaned my local one out. The ammo guy said a husband and wife came in and bought all the ammo they had on clearance. I know them. They own a local hunting and fishing store and are the same folks that usually buy up all the .22 LR until recently. Walmart actually has that in stock for the first time in 3 years. I didn't think to check firearms closeouts.

I may have to go to the store!

Thanks OP. I pass a decent Wally World on the way home from work. Hopefully people like Lothbrok don't live near me anymore. The store could be cleaned out already.

3 walmarts. All there was was 2 boxes of $1 buckshot.

Well, at mine, I missed out on ZQI 7.62x51 at $2.50/20. A large amount according to the manager. Bought by one guy.
I did score military buckshot at $1 and some perfecta 357 fmj at $9/50. Also some leftover from last year's clearance perfecta 308 150gr SP at $7. |

9 boxes AE @ $5. Second Walmart only had green box, but I picked up a Leatherman Style CS for $5 and a Gerber Commuter for $5.

I snagged 10 boxes of $7 Perfecta .308 last week.
I love this time of year. |

Wish I had seen this an hour ago while I was in town
|

Went to a Walmart at a couple towns over where that inventory tracker said they had 45 boxes of the 223....could not be located. I think I'm done with the Walmart ammo lottery.

Thanks Arf. I finally scored on a wally world ammo clearance deal.
Scored all 47 boxes of their black box AE .223 They still had it marked at the higer price, asked the guy to scan a box and came up at $5. Took it all. |

That black box Federal has been long since gone around here. Cheap Tulammo steel/steel .223 is $4.88/box, seems to be new normal. 9mm steel case Winchester is cheap too.
Best deal I saw was 12-pack boxes of Four Peaks brewery products for $9.50. Thats a goddamn bargain. |

Looks like I am going to be hitting up Wal-Mart's all day tomorrow.

OR you can just buy American Eagle .223 for 30 cents per round per 1000, BEFORE REBATE SHIPPED to your door at places like NATCHEZ with current sale and free shipping. You get the same rebate! So you are saving 2 cents per round and running around to stores and never getting enough to make a difference. Its NOT a killer deal! You are in the Fantasy land. Reality is a bitch. |

Thanks evnash

I could use a .30-06 to shoot all the ammo I have, an $89 Ruger American would be great if there was one in stock anywhere close

Its been at least a couple years since I saw Perfecta at any Walmart near me.

I've had no luck with the Brickseek site. Said some various Federal in stock a ways away and they didn't have any. Checked another store it said had some, and nothing.

I saw several boxes of 300 win mag on clearance at my local Wally World for 7.99 a box a couple days ago. Too bad I don’t own a 300 win mag.

None of this going on in my local stores.
I asked the clerk about it and no one knew anything about it in the recent past or on the horizon. They had a few "rollback specials" recently, but that's basically a limited time sale price for regularly stocked items per the clerk. They did have some American Eagle for about $.34/round as an everyday price and some $8 aluminum cased 9mm. |
