[ARCHIVED THREAD] - Reloading 64g 223 problem.

I honestly hate these bullets and will never buy them again. They are so freaking long. And when I press them to my standard OAL the bullet sinks right into the case resting on the powder. I'm used to 50 and 55g. I'm using a single stage rcbs with Lee dies. No matter how I adjust it I can't seem to get a tighter crimp. What am I missing?

I've got a couple dozen rounds of this stuff and the pills easily will fall back into the case when loading them into mags or just pressing down with my thumb mildly.

I'm guessing I have to pull all of them??

What OAL are you seating too?

Have you tried seating a 55gr to make sure you don't have a tension problem?
