Haven't seen them in many years, but they always put on a great show. I'm not sure how many times I've seen them, probably 5-6.

Surrender is one of my favorite songs, unfortunately, never had the opportunity to see them in action.

A great live act. An American icon group, for sure.

I remember a long time ago, someone wrote, "Cheap Trick isn't anybody's favorite band, but they're on everyone's top ten favorites list."

I saw the twice in the early 1980s at a club in downtown Goldsboro, NC when I was stationed at Seymour Johnson AFB.  Their live shows had major energy compared to their album work.  This is what I think is their best recording, the Live At Budokan version of I Want You To Want Me.

Riding around in my cousin's Buick Invicta, listening to Cheap Trick, Pink Floyd, Van Halen, and other cool 70s music.

The late 70s were a great time to be a kid..

The first two albums I bought when I was 9 years were Cheap Trick and In Color.  Those first two albums were great.  It was downhill from there though.

Best Cheap Trick song:

And here's one from the Steve Albini sessions:
