OH Really!
You never know until you try!
|
| Face-palm, main problem with these people is that they are in their own little worlds and they don't venture outside into the real world very much. It's really is like a child-like way of thinking. Just like Communism, seems like a great idea when you're a child, but then you grow up and realize it won't work out the way you thought. |
| Really...where does she think she'll stand? In the distopian landscape she's suggesting, does she believe the kind of authoritarian ruling body that'll need to exist to accomplish the feat will view her and her colleagues with any less disdain? Jesus, bizarro world. |

I see perforation in her future if she tries. |

Dead in a ditch, because their buddies now viewed them as a threat. |

I pointed this out to some leftist shitheel the other day. Real Antifa type, this one. I told him that the revolutionaries who helped men like Mao and Castro come to power, the real die-hards, all ended up meeting the same fate. Lol okay. Behind every blade of grass.... Vive la résistance! |
| Actually CT called it masse Civil Disobedience because so few turned out. Bunch of Fudds there. Seriously, like 15% turnout or something like that. And it was merely to register guns with the state. Something already practiced in some states. Not forced turn-ins. |

I remember that. Connecticut Mag Registration. It was a massive failure as the overwhelming majority of gun owners would not comply. Quoted:

She is a he. He also has some really whacked ideas. Like straight men should want to have sex with transgendered women and if they don't they are prejudiced. Also said that the gays thrown off buildings in Syria were trying to commit suicide and ISIS was trying to save them. Quoted:

This is the same type of person that also thinks batteries should run trains, airliners and cargo ships. Or that wind can power everything. This is what happens when you keep entertaining childish ideas even when the individual isnt a child anymore. I will build WIND TRAIN. |

She's right. Gun owners, by and large, have a great appreciation for military/police and would not react violently to whoever Uncle Sam sent out to gather the guns.
What she doesn't expect, however, is how many of those guns will conveniently no longer be in the owner's possession. So many of them will have been tragically lost or stolen by burglars just before they start going around to gather them. Or sank to the bottom of the ocean during a tragic boating accident. Or were sold for cash to a guy in a parking lot who's name and description I can't seem to remember, which is perfectly legal afterall. So inconvenient that I don't have those guns anymore, or I'd love to turn them over to you. |
|
If guns are not registered, how do the Federales know where to find them?
In Australia when the Govt decided to got this way everything was registered so they knew where all the guns were. On top they offered reasonable financial compensation. Gunowners folded like a house of cards. Ask me how I know. |
|
How about something less extreme, like adding ARs to NFA? We gonna start shooting anyone who asks to see registration papers then?
They wouldn't have to come get them, just wait for anyone with contraband to be picked up on some other charge. Look to NY and CT for example |

As much as some of you may hate to admit it, she's probably right. Most would give them up without a fight. Most that claimed that they would die before they would give them up would give them up without a fight.
Arfcom has this strange fantasy about going out guns blazing. |

Since you started this idea, statist toalitarian "liberal," how about these proposals:
"Honestly just go grab all the LGBTs. There's fewer people willing to open fire on government agents than you think. You could go door to door and take all the LGBTs and it'd be surprisingly uneventful. I mean you never know if this is possible until you try it and find out, right?" Or… "Honestly just go grab all the journalists. There's fewer people willing to open fire on government agents than you think. You could go door to door and take all the journalists and it'd be surprisingly uneventful. I mean you never know if this is possible until you try it and find out, right?" Or… "Honestly just go grab all the Muslims. There's fewer people willing to open fire on government agents than you think. You could go door to door and take all the Muslims and it'd be surprisingly uneventful. I mean you never know if this is possible until you try it and find out, right?" Or… "Honestly just go grab all the pot smokers. There's fewer people willing to open fire on government agents than you think. You could go door to door and take all the pot smokers and it'd be surprisingly uneventful. I mean you never know if this is possible until you try it and find out, right?" See how this works? |

It simply isn't going to happen ala Australia method. They will have to figure out a way that we would want to give them up or something like a full on insurgency. Even then its going to be difficult. |

Assume 1% of that will kill. That's 8,000. I'm guessing that will be the most hardcore, so using Micah Johnson as a base, you are looking at about 40,000 dead cops. You volunteering to be one? |
Oh, and that might, like, totally work! And like, without the guns, crime will be less, then, like, we won't need so many cops! And then we could, like, totally end world hunger!
Explain to me this Gen X, Y, Z thing again. I think I saw it written on a tattoo somewhere, but I've forgotten just what it said. |
