[ARCHIVED THREAD] - Need Help Digitizing a Box of Receipts.

I have a box of receipts that span 24 years of home improvements.
I need to convert them to digital form for tax and mortgage reasons.

I have started to do this via a document app on my phone. One slip at a time. It is very time consuming, and I will still have to go and organize them after.

Is there a place I can go to and have them scan them and put them in order by date?

Hire a temporary book keeper looking for a second job, Buy scanner like a scansnap.

I hire accounting/finance students from the local college to do the basic stuff about 20 hours/week.

You can write off improvements done to your house when you sale it.

Shoeboxed.com has a service you can just send them a box of receipts and they will scan and organize them for you. Probably other similar services on the internet.
