Kilmer and Clooney suffered from the films themselves degrading into ridiculous shit. I think both could have made a better Batman under different circumstances, though Clooney perhaps lacked that little bit of bite you need at the heart of the character. Afflek just seems too... low energy. He's a stodgy, ponderous, disconnected Batman. When Batman stands still, he's supposed to give the feeling of the silent eternal guardian, the hunter, seeing and understanding everything while his iron will keeps his body motionless as he hides in the shadows waiting for the perfect moment to pounce. When Afflek stands still, he gives the feeling that he's just forgotten what he's supposed to do next. Casting Afflek is like casting Brick from Anchorman. |

Bale sucked. Always sounded as though his nose was stopped up. Wth did he talk in batman voice when he was talking to Alfred? Just because he had the outfit on?
Clooney was worse. Why didnt batgirl have pokey nipples like batman and robin???? That would have made the movie somewhat better. Affleck sucked as well as the story. Im not gonna kill you because your mom's name is martha. My mom's name is martha too.. stupid. Affleck is a terrible actor. All of his movies flop and he is ruining the batman franchise. He sucked as daredevil too. So in order from worst to best it is: Clooney, affleck, kilmer, bale, west, keaton. This is the list only from the 60s on. I'm not counting the 40s batmen cause i cant remember their names. Keaton was awesome as batman. First dark sided batman and pulled it off well. At the time people thought he was going to be like affleck. He was know for his movie Mister Mom. But he made batman. |
