Maybe a white trash version that doesn't say anything at all.  It just sits in a recliner and smokes while you try to save the other one.

A big city one where the other dummies try to keep walking through where you are doing CPR.

Needs more wailing and drama, if you aren't calling a second bus for momma, it's not useable for training in Baltimore.

Yes.

Could not finish the video. The voice was too annoying. In real life I would have
just walked away, hearing that.

I understand with a single responder, but do you agree with the practice if there are 2?

I grew up with 15&2 or 10&1.

Responder or bystander?

Responder is still with ventilations.

Single bystander vs. 2 assisting bystanders.

Is the new standard because it is more effective, or because bystanders are clumsy, stupid, tend to freak out, etc.?

I.e. - If you have 2 bystanders with the correct mindset and technique, is the victim better served with 15&2?

Didn't a recent study conclude that, after a very short period of time, CPR is useless?  And that the only reason they still teach it is because of the need to be seen "doing something!"

The move away from bystanders doing ventilations is the tendency of folks to not want to go mouth to mouth with a stranger.  That you had to as part of the accepted practice lead to people just walking away rather than moving perfectly good blood through the brain and heart.

A few minutes of slightly unoxygenated blood getting circulated is orders of magnitude better than nothing.  Plus it makes less to teach and remember.  Just push hard and fast.

Bystander CPR and public access AEDs save lives.  Period.

Your chances of surviving a cardiac arrest without a significant decrease in quality of life requires at least the first, but at best both.
