I see on another thread that you are back.
How did the surgery go after the initial botch up by the docs?
Glad to see you back and wishing you well,
Gunslinger

Oh and by the way, since you are a moderator and I do not want to be accused of kissing up....

He's not back home in IL.  He has some recovering to do in AZ & then a flight back here.  They botched up enough that they could not proceed & he has to return in a couple of months to try again.

Seriously though, I was made fully aware ahead of time that my circumstances were probably 50/50 at best, and that we could only hope to be on the top-side of the odds...  Obviously, I wasn't!

I have to go back in 3 months, and at that time, they'll try a different approach.

I was told by my doc NOT to attempt to fly home until next week, so I'm scheduled on the first available flight Monday morning.  I'll arrive back in Quincy Monday at 4:30pm.

Once home, I will be hanging the "Do Not Disturb" sign on the door for at least 24 hours, since I haven't seen my wife in 2 weeks!  [;)]

Tim, you just rest up and get well!!!  Hopefully they'll get it right the next time around.  Surgery is almost as much art as science, so there are no definates. The best you can do is to not cause any additional problems by taking care of you self. So STAY PUT and REST UP Damn It!!!!!!!

Wishing you well now and in the future.....
