All,
What's the best way to post pics to the forums? Is there one hosting site better than another? I used to use Photobucket but they rolled out this new 3rd party rule and all the links are locked down unless you pay their subscription fee. Thoughts? |

| Download pic to your device/computer. Click on reply just like you would without pic. At the bottom left is a button that says Select File. Click it. Follow the pop up window instructions. When you've selected the pic, the pop up window will vanish. Click on the Upload button found right next to the Select File button. Click the Preview button. Add text or more pics. Click Preview then Submit when you're done. |

You don't need a hosting sight to post here. OP, you need to have a paid membership to use Arfcom hosting. Sorry, I forgot. Paid membership is worth it, imo. |

Here's what you do without a paid membership.
Pick a 3d party hosting site. Upload photos to that. On the top row of your reply window is a button with graphic of a mountain and sun. You'll use that after copying the link the photo hosting site provides. Paste the link in the window you see after clicking the mountain button. |

If you're trying to post an image that you created, upload it to something like imgur, then copy the image address and repeat steps above. |

I just moved most of my pics over to Flickr and it seems to be working fine, however, Flickr is part of Yahoo and Verizon just purchased Yahoo's 'internet' property, so we'll see how that goes.
I tried signing up for Imgur, just to see what that's about, but I think my username is taken and I never went back to it after figuring out Flickr. Chris |

A member here showed me the Imgur thing. Post your pic to Imgur. Go to the links part. Select BBCode link. Copy and paste that.
Easy peesy. |

I think part of it is that I'm under 50 posts... someone told me that no images show until you break the 50 post threshold... Getting closer... tick tock, tick tock... LOL |

They show for me, but since you're under 50 posts I think maybe they only show for members? There's an approve/report link under any image you post right now since you're on "probation", so any member can approve your pics (or report them if you're going to commit account suicide via cockpocolypse). All I see if the link... But when I do a 'preview' before I post... I see the image... |
