i want to see what everybody drives as their main vehicle

don't care what it is

also want to know what you like about it and what you DON'T like about it. the don't is the more important category, i want to hear what you dislike about what you drive and why.

why?  because this is GD and a thread like that would entertain me.  also, i'll eventually have to replace the wife's car and i want to see shit out there that i don't even know exists at this point.

I drive a Kia Soul.

What I like about it? It is free, company car, toll tag and gas car FTW!

What I don't like?  It's a rolling billboard and it's a Kia. Plus it is GPS monitored so I can't go faster than 80 without the office knowing.

I have 2 daily drivers. I make my choice based upon weather and need for cargo.

Nice days:

Bad weather and/or need to carry large things:

I love both of them.

2002 Honda Civic with 274K miles.  What I like:  It's only required scheduled maintenance, and it gets 35 mpg with AC on and 36 mpg without.  What I don't like:  It is a bit of a rough ride on country roads.

Likes:
4.8 second to 60
25mpg
Comfortable leather interior
Low road noise
Seatbelts for 5
Prices used aren't too high

Dislikes
Spead limiter at 140
Only 300hp

06 F150, The only thing I dislike about it is the shape of the front end, it makes it difficult to tell where it ends from the drivers seat, which in turn makes it a pain in the ass to park grill to grill in a parking lot. Always paranoid I'm going to tap the car in front of me.

2017 F-150. I love that it has tons of room, is comfortable, drives well and is a truck (4x4, can tow, bed for stuff). Don't like how wide it is, parking can be a pain sometimes and 16 MPG isn't the greatest. Overall I love it though.

Four hours behind the wheel in this today.

Cons its got a half million miles on it, the AC gets sporadic, it rattles enough to drive you nuts, and the blind spot on the passenger side is big enough to hide a buick in.

Pros: My son gave it to me. They tried to fuck him on trade and he said "Fuck it."
Made proud. So, no payments.
 4WD comes in handy.
  Handy for hauling.

 Cons: 15-16 mpg.

Just rebuilt engine and expect to get another 220k out of it.

My 1989 4Runner.   Never a day in the salt.   Actually I hardly drive it since my Corolla and TDI get better mpg.  And the 4 banger won't tow anything......the camper was just towed across town in 3rd gear.

One of these days I'll sell it, as the novelty has worn off.   Nice little truck tho.

Focus ST

The ONLY shortcoming we have encountered so far is that the center armrest is so short it's difficult to even rest your elbow on it while driving, otherwise it's an outstanding FUN to drive vehicle.

15 VW Passat  34k miles (no ARF road trips yet even, eclipse will be the first one)

Love everything it has, how it drives, lots of legroom for a tall person, loaded with features and comfort, great sound system, navigation, bluetooth, USB,  configurable dash, etc.

Dislike:  One option it doesn't have - remote start, I never realized how much I used it.

07 Focus. 4 cyl/5 speed manual. Manual everything. I paid cash for it about a month ago. 25k original miles.... THings is like a new fucking car.

Likes: Cost $100 to register, insurance is 45/mo. 35+ mpg. No car payment

Cons: Its an 07 Focus hatchback with manual everything.

2007 BMW Z4M Coupe

Sometimes I don't like that the trunk is small and I can't carry large rifle cases.  I hate that I can't recline the seats much if I want to take a nap.  The suspension is tough on Rough shitty roads. Not great in the snow even with Hakkapalita R2's.

But I've kept it 10 years and 140,000 miles year round in CT which means it hasn't been too bad.

'07 Escalade. She's getting old.

Edit: What I do like is the drivetrain. The 6.2L and 6L80 combo are rock solid, it pulls whatever we put behind it (within reason).  It's comfortable, reliable, handles nicely for something it's size, and generally doesn't cause me issues.

What bothers me is THE FUCKING DOOR HANDLES KEEP BREAKING. WHO IN THEIR RIGHT FUCKING MIND THOUGHT THAT GIANT PLASTIC HANDLES WITH EXTREME LEVERAGE WERE BEST ANCHORED WITH TWO TINY BOLTS? I've replaced *seven* exterior handles and three interior ones.

...but beyond that, it's just oil, brakes, and tires to keep it on the road.

Plenty of bed room to haul crap.
Con's. Gas milage 15-16 tops on premium. Hate the quad cab. Should have gone for the bigger full size.

2015 Mustang GT 5.0 50th Anniversary, black with tinted windows.

PROS:  my commute is mainly 3 lane interstate, so I have enough power to get around the fucktarded Left Lane Campers (LLCs)

CONS:  the Roush axleback exhaust will sometimes attract some unwanted attention, usually from ricers with fart cans, so that can be annoying as fuck.

It is actually kinda rare to run across a Challeger, a Vette, a Camaro, or a CTS-V that want to race.

the black paint shows every freakin' spec of dirt

PROS:  the tinted windows keep the security guards at work from seeing inside it

CON:  doesn't exactly sip gas

PRO:  no matter how shitty of a day I have had at work, walking out to that car, and seeing it always puts a smile on my face.

EDIT, PRO:  the trunk is actually wide enough to fit at least two Pelican cases into it.  I think I have 1720's.  I don't know if a 1750 would fit, though.

They're about worn out though.  But l think l can get another couple months out of them.

When l have to use something with an internal combustion engine.

2004 Dakota and a 2008 Yamaha Raider.

I like everything about the truck except l wish it got better got mileage.  18-19 on the highway is a bit weak.

The bike is a 1900cc v-twin that motivates right comfortably down the road.  But only had a 5 speed transmission. WTF Yamaha?!  I get damned near 60mpg on two lane highways at 55mph but hit the interstate and 75-80 and it drops to 45mph.

2015 BMW 335i with tune and exhaust.  Love the speed and handling for a four door car, previously had a 335i coupe that I preferred the looks of but the backseat was a bitch to get to.  Dealer is an hour away, but makes it a rare car compared to all of the Mustangs and Camaros around here.

2014 Jeep GC Overland with Hemi.  V8 and 4x4 and gets 24MPG on road trips.  Only thing that soured me was the water pump going out at 40k miles.

Don't have a picture of mine but it's almost a perfect twin to this other than the color.  Can't think of a single thing I don't like about it.  What I do like is that it's paid for, the tag and insurance is cheap and it's one of the most damn dependable vehicles I've ever owned.  But to be honest, I've never owned a vehicle that wasn't dependable.
