I am in Atlanta for work this week. Where are the bad areas that I should avoid? I should be working in an area northeast of Norcross/Duluth.

| Traffic isn't bad at all anywhere for the two months the crotch spawn are out of school. Enjoy it now. Stay away from anywhere downtown and public transportation. Same as anywhere else, if you feel like you're in a rap video, time to relocate. Gun stores are the same as any other free state. Adventure outdoors on the west side is probably he biggest. Might find something at bullseye in lawrenceville, it's in gwinnexico, near Norcross. |

I used to be a cop in Atlanta. Stay away from west, southwest, south east Atlanta. Central Atlanta is fine during the day and east side is somewhat up and coming. North side into kennasaw areas is fairly wealthier and ok.
Worst is west side Donald lee hollowell pkwy which used to be Bankhead highway. Rumor was always that the city changed the road names to lower the crime statistics. Lot of drugs and gang activity in that area. Statistically your odds of finding trouble are slim but this is just my recommendation. |
