I saw these Lada 4x4s in northwestern Montenegro.  I was wondering if anyone has driven one off road before.  How do they compare to a Jeep etc?

A couple of other interesting vehicles in the town of Zabjlak also.

I wonder how that 710 Pinzgauer made its way to that town?

Well you ve got my interest now.  Why would it be odd for it to be there?  (Just asking because I have zero education on the vehicle?"

Both it and the lada fall apart from rust.

Lada Niva's are like the Subaru Crosstrek of the slavic world. I spent a lot of time in Central Asia and they were everywhere. Very inexpensive and very capable 4x4's. They'd be fun here for a rallycross, winter commuter, or farm beater.

Yes.....not the greatest comfort....

Popular in Hungary but many are going into Suzuki and other setups.
