I need a case for my new phone, tell me what I should consider. I had the verizon store put a screen protector on but said "no thanks" to a case until I had time to shop around.
I looked at otterboxes (defender) but would remove their shit screen protector and void any warranty I assume. I looked at lifeproof nuud cases but would have to replace the screen protecter I just paid for to get the case to seal. Waterproof is a cool feature of the lifeproof but I mainly just want drop/bump protection. Then again... |
| I use Spigen cases. IMO they are the best bang for the buck. Amazon.com has the best prices. |

| Lifeproof. Nuud. I do construction and farming and all the dust and sweat will kill a phone. The nuud has no screen protector on it, it seals with silicone around your screen edge. It's super fun to take phone In the shower til your wife starts asking what your doing in there. |

| Lifeproof used to send the screen protector with nuuds but stoped for the 7. Best thing that ever happened because I started using teqii protectors from Amazon. They are awesome. The lifeproof are thin plastic and work well but you have to get centered the first time and dust free. The teqii from Amazon are like a plate of glass and easy to align as you put on. Install these with case on of course. The teqii are clear, i can't stand the grainy effect of some protectors. I've had this one on for 6 months and it still scratch free, even after using my phone with muddy fingers. |

The teqii was recommended on amazon to go with the nuud but that's where I saw all the reviews complaining about it not completely covering the screen and leaving annoying gaps around the edges.
Do you have a 6 or 7? I get the feeling they are using the same screen protectors but the 7 screen may be slightly larger and is what is causing the complaints. |

I have a Lifeproof FRE. The screen protector gives up some touch sensitivity, but the phone is well protected from dirt and dust. |
a magpul case for my regular 6 that I would rotate with a thule case and it was fine for a free case.
