Dog just got sprayed. First time we've ever had a dog get sprayed by a skunk in all the years we've owned dogs.
Of course, I don't have any tomato juice or peroxide in the house and the stores don't open for another 30 minutes.

I've heard the stuff Tractor Supply sells works good, Natures Miracle. I've always used peroxide but I'm thinking of trying the other. You would think they'd have learned after the first time

Any pet owner should stock skunk-defunker, especially if you're in the deep suburbs or rural area. Any dog that goes outdoors is going to get sprayed eventually. |

Yup, used this 3 times on my dogs, works good enough to get rid of most of the stink. You would think they'd have learned after the first time ![]() Quoted:

playing with the puppy on a chain last night, old lady push mowed about 100 square feet on the left side of the yard, and came back to the middle of the yard, and then we all smelled it. I'm pretty sure he's under my shed and made a break for the big horse field once she cleared out with the mower.
He dies tonight at sundown. |
