Sausages, eggs, bacon, hash browns, cherry tomatoes, baked beans, mushroom....and the piece de resistance BLACK PUDDING

Never eaten an English breakfast before.

There aren't many English cuisine restaurants in the US for some reason.

I make that all the time, minus the black pudding and bacon instead of ham. I hose it all down with HP sauce.

It's just baked beans, little more tomato sauce than brown sugar though.

Once I saw OP I knew there'd be blood pudding

My grandma is from a small town near Liverpool,  Maghull.

She loves that kind of food.

Where's the tea!!!

There's a restaurant near me called the Irish Cottage that has English Breakfast on the menu, but the Black Pudding has always been a no go for me.

I've always found an English breakfast to taste odd. The eggs are "off" and I prefer bangers to the hammy meat, could never find real bacon. The mushrooms (which are not present) are delicious though.

Oh, and 5/10. No guns, knives, or a beer present in photo. Very timely in that we are celebrating our Independence Day over here.

Nasty ass blood pudding! The only thing worse are those cursed tomatoes.

You need some good ale to go with that amount of winning

Real Brit bacon is the shoulder, so it looks like ham. The restaurants in London where I've eaten that meal only cook the bacon on one side.

I tried it but couldn't eat the black pudding, it was too sticky/bloody raw yoke tasting for me. Probably psychological.

Google British Bacon & get educated folks.

I think they mean 'streaky bacon'....

Looks good...had a traditional English breakfast (minus the Mushroom) once...different from what we normally have, but definitely tasty (and had black and white pudding too)

Some Homemade 'streaky bacon'....and Canadian bacon.....(that was an extra thick cut batch....)

It is a combination of loin and belly not shoulder.

There is a reason why we revolted against King George and won our freedom....... and that breakfast is the reason why.

I would all of it.   I'd merely put some black pepper on the eggs and beans.   Are mimosas and coffee authorized?
7/2/2017 7:53:44 AM EDT

Theres a dog hair on your ham there sir...that aint bacon...I eat bacon...that aint bacon. And triangular shaped, prepackaged GMO potato stuff...nope, aint hashbrowns...more like alien spaceship shaped tater tot.

No gun, no knife, no brass knuckles or other accoutrement, no flashlight...

2/10  at least it had eggs and sausage.

Very nice.  I did a couple of shoulders like that.  Yes it's not a slab of bacon but I have to drive an hour for a full slab to smoke.

I try to replicate it here at home and it's just never as good

The heck you say.  There's a big mushroom cap on the plate in the op.   His pudding is under something.  ETA it's the platform for his roasted maters.  I'm on I phone to surf this am.

-5/10.

Take that "pudding" away and I'll make it 5/10.

I was in Ireland last fall and they do the same breakfast. I could not bring myself to eat the black pudding but ate the pork pudding instead. I thought it tasted like scrapple.

I like the back bacon better than US bacon and the beans were good too. Sausages were good as well....

good reason

their bfast is meh, skip the beans/mushrooms and its okay. They don't have bacon but ham and generally their food is very bland (no salt/pepper)

sunday roast is good

most chip shops use crap fish now so it meh

they only thing the brits got right were bring in people to make food for them. Even their specialities need to be beefed up with flavor to compete anywhere outside the UK

I'd eat two servings of that.

However, we have rules.

No guns
No beverage
No broadsword

WTF?????????????????

Our local brewpub does an Irish breakfast every year for St Patrick's Day. It wasn't bad but the black and white puddings were a little too weird tasting. Black pudding especially. Cloves and sausage should not ever go together.

I'd eat that.......right after I scraped all the shit off the plate
