I've always found an English breakfast to taste odd. The eggs are "off" and I prefer bangers to the hammy meat, could never find real bacon. The mushrooms (which are not present) are delicious though.Â
Oh, and 5/10. No guns, knives, or a beer present in photo. Very timely in that we are celebrating our Independence Day over here. |

Real Brit bacon is the shoulder, so it looks like ham. The restaurants in London where I've eaten that meal only cook the bacon on one side.
I tried it but couldn't eat the black pudding, it was too sticky/bloody raw yoke tasting for me. Probably psychological. Google British Bacon & get educated folks. |

That's bacon, not ham You've all just lived deprived lives ![]()
Looks good...had a traditional English breakfast (minus the Mushroom) once...different from what we normally have, but definitely tasty (and had black and white pudding too) Some Homemade 'streaky bacon'....and Canadian bacon.....(that was an extra thick cut batch....) Attached File |

Theres a dog hair on your ham there sir...that aint bacon...I eat bacon...that aint bacon. And triangular shaped, prepackaged GMO potato stuff...nope, aint hashbrowns...more like alien spaceship shaped tater tot.
No gun, no knife, no brass knuckles or other accoutrement, no flashlight... 2/10 at least it had eggs and sausage. |

I was in Ireland last fall and they do the same breakfast. I could not bring myself to eat the black pudding but ate the pork pudding instead. I thought it tasted like scrapple.
I like the back bacon better than US bacon and the beans were good too. Sausages were good as well.... |

There aren't many English cuisine restaurants in the US for some reason. their bfast is meh, skip the beans/mushrooms and its okay. They don't have bacon but ham and generally their food is very bland (no salt/pepper) sunday roast is good most chip shops use crap fish now so it meh they only thing the brits got right were bring in people to make food for them. Even their specialities need to be beefed up with flavor to compete anywhere outside the UK |
