I traded a LNIB Aimpoint PRO for a used Aimpoint CompM4. The CompM4 has some wear, but the glass is clear.

I have a couple PROs and the extended battery life with a AA battery seemed like an upgrade.

I figure if I don't like it I can always trade it for a Barska.

There is no way would I trade a perfectly operating optic for another slightly different model that is used.

Is it a Chinese clone?

Even when the perfectly operating optic's MSRP is $400 less than the used optic, and I only paid $250 for the perfectly operating one?

Original MSRP holds no relevance when current value of the used item is below the new item's and if the newer item had warranty while the used one did not, that would make it even worse.

I'd say if you're happy with it who gives a shit what anyone else thinks. Enjoy your hobby OP.

Meh. The PRO, while like new, was also used when I bought it for $250. The warranty issue is a wash. Either Aimpoint will honor warranties for second owners, or they won't. It is the same either way.

Deal. If there is one thing I learned on ARFCOM it's that rifles and optics are worthless after they get a scratch.
