Holy shit the one review on them though.

There great but my wife left me for marine which is okay but I still have the night vision but I don't have the house or the kids but the best part is I can be operator af and it makes for a excellent way to read books and drink whisky in the dark it also gives me good memories of being a green beret so I recommend these if you have the money

But if we're dreaming, I'd love a PSQ-36 FGS. Binocular night vision with built in thermal overlay.

Or a PVS-21, which is more of a super low profile HUD style system.

AFAIK they're sort of like an F-22: not illegal to own, but the manufacture only sells them to the government, and the government doesn't sell them.

The PVS 21 reportedly has very poor image quality and problematic mounting solutions in terms of vertical adjustment/orientation. In speaking with some folks who use them, they hated them and wished to go back to the PVS 14s as they had to tilt their helmet back just to try and raise the 21 into the center of their eye.

Whatever the model number is that my friend is issued is way better, everything is white'ish, blue, grey'ish, clear as hell too! Wish I could remember the model number.
