After not shooting for several months due to pregnancy, my wife is ready to start hitting the range again. Any recommendations on hearing protection for infants?

Hire a babysitter
But if you must take the baby place in stroller behind the line a good ways and facing away, they do sell some putty like ear plugs stuff for kids, it is bright orange and you roll it up and stuff it in. I used it on the nephew when he was 2 and we went to the airshow, still put muffs on him as well. Or place in running car with ac on and have one of you watch the other shoot as one stays with the kid Best is to just leave the kid at home though with a babysitter. |

I took it as a fantastic joke, with rules followed.
Nice work, OP. Newborns need range time too!
Edit: On a similar note, I was 16 working as a waiter. Couple came in with a very young child. Me: (Robotically) "Smoking or non?" Husband: "Baby wants smoking." I laughed, it broke me out of my monotonous busy time habit. Take a joke people. |

I told the wife that one of us should stay in the car with him (big outdoor range, parking away from firing line). She's mad about you guys criticizing her thoughts of baby ear pro. GD is not for her. ![]() Keep your precious delicate child far the fuck away from shooting ranges. And when you decide the child is capable of shooting on its own and bring it, for the love of God double up, in ear plugs and outer muffs to protect the bones. |
