Had canvas left over from the purse I made for the wife and decided I'd take a swing at building an Isle Royale style pack. What do you think?

| 15"x15"x5" because that's what I could make with the cloth I had. Next one will be the "jr" size, 18" tall and 6" deep. Going to go with the cheaper natural colored canvas which I can dye to a mild O.D flavor. Need to order a side of 6oz leather which will be a lot easier to work with. And more buckles. And copper rivets. And heavy waxed thread. And probably wax for the canvas. |
