I would like to know if it is possible to have one key fob with multiple buttons, programmed for multiple vehicles? Instead of carrying fobs for each vehicle. Maybe even a button to open the entry door to my house?

More of an RF question, but yeah, I'm sure it is. Do different brands use different bands, or widely different frequencies?
