Looks like a northern brown snake to me. We have them all over ohio, as common and harmless as garters.

Anyway, I went to church to pray for god's forgiveness for killing the snake. On the way home I saw another one, so I stopped and picked it up. It felt cold, so I stuck it in my pants to warm it up. I am sure that the world will be full of rats now that I killed a poor, harmless snake. |

OP you remind me of a special ed 8 year old.
Don't go out in nature if you kill animals you can't even identify. Especially "baby" animals. Some snakes are protected. Field ID is a basic skill of outdoorsmen. Good luck hunting waterfowl and trying to explain to a wildlife officer why you blasted a heron instead of a coot. I guess you got a nice hit of adrenaline from killing that harmless snake. Why don't you go stomp some salamanders and shoot some goldfinches. retard. |
