| i ordered a glock frame from glockmister and did all the normal get my local ffl to send there info to them. it shipped and i tracked it today and it said dilivered but the gun store employe says i didnt sign for. i show him the tracking and it says its in the mailbox. he says thats not right for a serialized part. thing is the owner has the drop box key no big deal ill go back tomorrow. the question is if its legal for a ffl to ffl transfer to happen without signing? glockmister says its in the mail box and perfectly normal. the gun store owner says hes never had it done in 10 years. anyones thoughts? |

How much time does a licensee have to record the acquisition and disposition of firearms?
1. Dealer Acquisitions: Generally, for licensed dealers the purchase or other acquisition of a firearm shall be recorded not later than the close of the next business day following the date of the acquisition or purchase. However, if commercial records containing the required information are available for inspection and are separate from other commercial documents, dealers have 7 days from the time of receipt to record the receipt in the acquisition and disposition (A&D) record. |
