![]() Police Detective challenges the Goose... and the goose wins |

We had geese on our farmette in OK when I was a kid. We had one son of a bitch that was so mean we had to keep brooms by each of the doors. It once latched onto my sisters back pocket and proceeded to beat the hell out of her the whole way into the house.
Geese are mean critters. |

We live on a river...and geese are a constant problem in our yard...
99% of the time they just fly off when I open the back door. Last year I had one get froggy and square up to me with the 'Come at me, bro' stance...he got a swift kick straight to the chest and flew back into the river... Now that I think about it, I should have grabbed him by the neck and made sure he didn't come back. |

I went to visit a friend and opened the gate and walked in and up to the door. Knocked and no answer.
I saw his geese come running towards me and they didn't look like they were to friendly. I took off for the gate but had no time for that so I jumped over the fence and I had 3 geese all up my azz doing it. I would have skipped out on a couple beers had I known I would be doing hurdles later . Good guard animals , loud and territorial. One problem is they did the same to my buddy. Non discriminate azzholes. His wife was a ninja with the broom . . |

Ooops!
The Migratory Bird Treaty Act of 1918 (MBTA), codified at 16 U.S.C. §§ 703ā712 (although §709 is omitted), is a United States federal law, first enacted in 1916 in order to implement the convention for the protection of migratory birds between the United States and Great Britain (acting on behalf of Canada).[1] The statute makes it unlawful without a waiver to pursue, hunt, take, capture, kill or sell birds listed therein ("migratory birds"). The statute does not discriminate between live or dead birds and also grants full protection to any bird parts including feathers, eggs and nests. Over 800 species are currently on the list.

Has anyone ever been fatally goosed? It's not like they can hold you in their claws and rip you apart with their fangs. They're flying pillows after all. I suppose they can beat you to death with their fluffy wings or something. I'll bet more people have been injured from slipping on goose shit...Ā |

What round for goose? Personally would go with 50bmg ![]() I watched as my bud got off a nice drive, but alas it never got where it was going after hitting a goose square in the head about 10 yards off the tee. The sound was glorious, and the goose could not have been more dead. |
