As a continuation of my previous thread, and the half inch bore being known to copper and powder foul at an accelerated rate), I have continued SCIENCE!!!

http://www.ar15.com/forums/t_1_5/1961499_SCIENCE--------meets-an-M44-sewer-pipe-.html

Here are the new pics, and with the half inch, I can take pics of the clean bore.

This was a Florida gun, and has shot well, but the bore scope never lies.... The bore scope sometimes lies about accuracy, which this has been an accurate rifle out to 2700 yards.

I'm pretty sure you're dissolving the bore, but by all means continue...

Fake news

People who can afford to ruin a barrett barrel send them back for a new barrel. This thread is like someone changing the oil on their Bentley.

That's easy.... You have to have one pissy metal contact another metal that hates pissiness, weld, introduce hydrogen into the mix through solution, not know what you are doing, not understand  mechanics and chemistry, or listen to Arfcom GD.

I have never done any of these when related to guns.

I built a Yugo M70 AK from a $50 kit with a sewer barrel, It shoots ok but the barrel is bad.

I read what you use, but can I just use a 12 volt batt charger or would it be too much?

Would a 6 volt lantern batt work?

I would use the 6 volt lantern battery,  which I used on the Barrett (due to the amount of steel), but would keep it down to 10 minutes or less.

What are those bubbles coming out of the barrel?
