Eventually you have to pressure wash it. A wise man once told me," you don't own it, it owns you". Starting to see where that applies to a whole lot of shit I seem to get myself into. Six hours today and I put a small dent into the back side of it.

Hell of a money pit OP.

I mowed grass yesterday for the first time this year, I'm dreading the yardwork.

It never ends either. The older you get, the harder these things Become!  But, it's still better than living in town!

I've already mowed four times this year already. TN got an early start on the growing season.

I do not consider myself a wise man, but I had the foresight to tell my wife before the wedding that to the end of our days together I would ensure that she had whatever kind of lawnmower she wanted.

I'm about to move to a home in the mountains without any landscaping. I wont miss my yard with a pool. I pay a pool guy and gardener and I still spend a full day per week working around the house.

I'm over it. I want to shoot my guns and ride my dirtbike. Both of which I'm about to do from my backyard.

I spent my whole Saturday pressure washing the back of the house and porch.

I was plumb spent. The cobwebs are the worse. That and when the dogs lay against the siding and make it black from their oily skin

My neighbor is 81, he bought his house in June of 1962, over two years before I was even born.  It's now for sale because they're just getting too old to care for it anymore.  This guy was constantly active from sunup to sundown and had no bad habits, time just took its toll.
