Tell me about reddit. I have never used and the site actually looks like something out of the early 90's however there does seem to be a ton of information and lots of topics.
One thing I'm wondering about is if you create an account can you actually subscribe to threads like arf. |

One thing I'm wondering about is if you create an account can you actually subscribe to threads like arf. There's a lot of leftist garbage but there's a lot of good discussion too. It's worth taking a look. It takes some getting used to how things are displayed though. I despise the way posts are shown; it's basically a popularity contest and if your post isn't winning then nobody is going to read it. It's really annoying when you have a legitimate question but it won't even show up on the first 5 pages.
There's a reddit page for anything and everything you can think of so it's a decent place to find information or discuss whatever random thing you're thinking about. You can set up your main page to show only posts from sub-reddits that you're subscribed to. |

I like /news and /politicaldiscussion.
Reddit as a whole is pretty left leaning; you'll find some interesting folks there. In fact, this morning the most upvoted "news" story was about some NRA instructor who caught his Glock in his shirt while holstering, thus shooting himself in the leg. |

Reddit has it's place.
There is a 'sub-reddit' for every imaginable topic. The cancer is in large mainline subs like r/politics, r/the_donald, hillary etc. tons of leftist retardation. The gun sub reddits are badass. lots of knowledge and high res pics r/military has lots of mil porn pics from across the world. Your favorite video game probably has a sub. Like working on cars? there is a sub for that. etc etc etc to infinity. I'm usually on daily. |

Yep, lots of great subreddits. Just have to look for things that interest you. Quoted:

Smaller subreddits are cool. The main page has turned into a Trump hatefest ever since he got elected. Most likely paid liberal astroturfing. |

I did just set it to show newest on top instead of popular under preferences. Thanks for the info and tips. Also, when you type a reply, there's a little link under the reply box that says something like "formatting help". If you click that it'll show you how to do things like bold/italicize words, make tables, etc. |

The_Donald is all the reddit you need. I never look at the front page. The posts are censored, and bots push down anything that isn't lefty. Unfortunately, the Donald is the only place on Reddit where you'll get real news. All the other political places on Reddit are quickly overcome with Share Blue posters. Reddit also has lots of outside the USA members. The format is old school. But not hard to read like demounderground place. What to read some really f'ed up political? Besides the regular left leaning political threads, Reddit Socialism is crazy. Those people in there are hardcore, crazy-ass socialist. The antifa, etc. |

Kids in the background but I will look later. Likely going to regret it ![]() Other fun ones: edc, battlestations (computer porn), nononono, and some specifics for beekeeping blacksmithing and others i like to read once every few days. Check it on a computer, the sidebars have similar subs you can look at. |
