Its been a long time since I've posted here. Thank you all for reminding me why. Too many people who have no clue what they're talking about.

Years ago I wanted a letter and paid them for it.  Waited a long time and then they had a fire in which their records were destroyed.  When I complained, my money was refunded.  I really wanted letters as they would have enhanced the value of the objects.

So who does the letter go to since they are no longer in business?

I have been workng in the area and they have been using the open and closed sign on the building. I have seen people coming and going, one with a rifle case.  I have not been able to stop in but it looks like they are still open

Whoever bought the company!!  Apparently "going out of business" means "we've been sold!" to folks these days.

More like a few sheds. This is from a couple years ago, but I'm sure it hasn't changed much.

Op could have bought exactly what he wanted, and better quality components from hundreds of other vendors.

Op could have bailed out when the 1st issue occurred....but didn't.

Op couldn't ID difference in SA vs FA BCG.

Op thinks email/ letter will make difference.

Amazing.

Why would you deal with a company that is dying? Their parts are so so anyways.
