I've run BFGoodrich KO's for years and was looking into the Nitto Ridge Grapplers for the next go around on my Jeep. Any thoughts on the Grapplers vs the KO 2s?

Stick with the BFGs.  I've seen too many Nittos that wouldn't balance.  IMO, Nitto makes poser tires.

What kind of Jeep?  Both of those tires are way too heavy for a Wrangler.

BFG all day everyday, when it comes to those type of tires

Wrangler with a 3.73 rear. What else would you recommend along these lines for a good tire that also looks good?

I have the KO2's on my JK Wrangler (roughly 33" tires; 4:10 gears, 6-spd manual, and the shitty 3.8 V6) and I absofuckinglutely love them. I haven't been happier with a set of truck tires ever than those KO2's. Most of my driving is around town/highway in the southeast. So wet roads and some mud, but no snow or ice.

I've been looking hard at the Hankook Dynapro for my next tire for my JK.

I like the BFGs for their beefy sidewalls. The volcanic rocks out here are murder on sidewalls.

I've run KO's/KO2's, and KM's on my SUVs and love them in the rocks. The KMs were too soft and wore out in 10K to 12K miles so I've been using KO2s.

I've had BFG for years on my previous two jeeps, 33" TKO A/T and  35" M/T.  Both good meats, the A/T was great on road and pretty good in rocks and sand.  I was diggin the MT's briefly, until a Barrel Cactus was able to puncture the sidewall, ruining an almost new tire.

I am at about 10k now on a set of 35" Goodyear MT/R's and I love them.  They are far better than either BFG tire off road in my experience, and pretty damn good on the street.  No cactus will ever puncture the kevlar sidewall, and they're awesome in rocks, mud, and good in sand.  Wear is TBD but looks like less than 1/4 used to me..
