I posted earlier about $1 led bulbs at Dollar Tree, they work great so far, 60 watt equivalents.
I also found $1 Styrofoam coolers there, perfect for leaving in the trunk in case an emergency beach party breaks out or you want to keep the frozen vegetables cold while you do more shopping after the grocery store. What have you found useful in a dollar store? |
I appreciate a good deal more than most and don't want to sound "uppity" but I draw the line at most Dollar Store stuff.....Sorry OP. 
That said there is a product I buy at the Dollar Store and that is their version of Nyquil. It has a decongestant in it that the current version of Nyquil does not have. |

This foaming glass cleaner is awesome, it lasts a long time, and it will clean a lot of stuff. I get some every time I go to Dollar Tree. I buy a few goodies, along with a plastic wash bucket I use to carry it to the register. You can never have too many disposable buckets.
They also have knock-off magic-erasers there that are great....those + spray foam cleaner are the neat freak's best friend. LA's Totally Awesome degreaser/cleaner is actually BETTER than Simple Green, IMHO. The Orange Cleaner works great on dirt bikes and engines without marring the finish. They also have cool LED candles from time to time. I have some of them I have around the house, great for mood lighting. Also get the $1 rope dog chews there....best price anywhere. They don't always have them, but my Dollar Tree carries CR123 batteries for $1 too, and I've found they last about as long as a mid-level brand that costs 3x as much. |

| My grandma can't get around as well any longer and lives in a small town with very few stores. I dropped by our dollar store and picked up a bunch of assorted greeting cards (cheap, multiple cards for a buck), a folder to keep them in, and a couple books of forever stamps from the post office. Problem solved for years for 20 bucks. |

| I like the dollar tree ribeye steaks. A fine meal anytime you're trying to impress a nubile young lady! Some raman noodles with dried tomatoes and parsley, and you're good to go. She will be amazed and in awe of your greatness. If you don't get laid, no great expense. (A bottle of Mogen David wine goes well with the steaks). |

Reading glasses. I keep several strengths around for close-up work and it they get scratched or broken, it's no big deal.
Some of their storage containers are pretty good, too. My wife buys most of the birthday/greeting/holiday cards there, except for Christmas. We order NRA, RMEF, and QDMA for them. |
