Holy shit! 

My boss just walked in, said thank you for everything you've done since you were hired, and handed me a bonus check for $2,500! 

Said it would have been more, but I only worked for the company for six months last year.

Looks like a new gun is in my future!

That's what they withheld, not necessarily what you were taxed.  Some of that will probably come back to you at tax time, or reduce the amount you owe.
