I've been over to the Berreta forum but obviously it doesn't get the traffic this place does and I need a pretty quick answer. Can anybody give me a estimate of what a nickle plated 92S in about 80% condition might be worth? I'm trying to get a deal worked out with a guy to pick one up and the sooner the better. Thanks, Matt

In 80% condition?  That's rough.  About $300-325.

Here's an Italian one in ~95% condition that sold for $425

92s is about $249-279 not plated so take that for what it's worth I wouldn't pay over 300

80% is pretty beat up, under $. 300.

The 92 isn't an especially sought after handgun to begin with, in that condition I wouldn't pay over $275.

J&G Sales has them for $279.95

Meh. I expected a few smartass replies. So maybe I'm a little off on the rating. I don't grade them for a living. It's as good as the ones on the J&G site. Actually looks better finish wise cause its nickle plated and doesn't show the wear along the edges. I have a general idea what I think it's worth. Was just trying to get some validation. Thanks, Matt

I guess 80% is the wrong percentage. It's really not beat up looking and shoots well. Everything functions fine. So lets don't put a number on it. We'll say good to very good. Just like J&G. And it's my understanding the inox didn't start until the FS series, so that's out. Nickle plated.
