Everyone likes Trench Club! And we are going to talk about Trench Club!

Up for your perusal is my interpretation of a WWI trench club! Dont ask me why! I just decided to make one! Found a guy last week from England on Ebay that had some old hobnails and ordered a tire thumper off of amazon. This thing is evil and twisted! I love it!

I could never figure how you put nails in a bat. Do you cut off the top of the nail and hammer that end in, or hammer in the nails then snip off the tops and sharpen them?

These are little hobnails. I just predrilled a small hole in the club and hammered them in. They look like this

Where'd you get the spike?

That is exactly what I used! For the spike I used a 4x1/2 inch piece of steel round stock and ground it down to a point. I chopped off the top inch of the truncheon. There is a screw you have to remove before you drill.

Pretty nice rendition, OP.

Me, I like my M1917 trench spike just fine.

WW1 was western civilization trying to commit collective suicide. It was probably the most stupid and unnecessary war in all of human history. No one had anything to gain by going to war.

We got a groovy video game out of it! All joking aside you are correct, it was an industrial waste of lives.
