Is darn good Bourbon.
IMO That is all. |

Elijah Craig 12 yr. small Batch was fantastic. However, it is no longer available. edit: I have the hickups... The 12 year was really good for the price. Unfortunately, the huge Bourbon boom made it impossible to keep up with demand, not enough 12 year old stock. That's why Elijah Craig 12 year old became Elijah Craig small Batch. It's now a mixture of 12 year old and younger bourbons. I haven't tried it since it changed. I guess I need to try it and see how it compares. On a brighter note, I did find a couple of bottles of the 12 Year old still on the shelf of a liquor store recently. It was in a pretty ghetto part of town, probably not much interest in good Bourbon there. |

Maybe that makes it a blend? Don't care. Good Bourbon! Local store is having a tasting of Knob Creek next week. Should I go? |

Attached File Currently out of Wild Turkey 101 and Rare Breed. |

Along with Blantons, Buffalo Trace etc. Screw the metrosexuals and folks in the Orient for making bourbon the new fad. Bastards. |

Should I go? I think it's fair to say you'll enjoy it. I've only had their rye and it really was superb. I've had more expensive rye's that weren't as good. YMMV obviously. |

I picked up a fifth this weekend and saw it was a new bottle with a new label. The flavor profile isn't as strong and I taste the alcohol a lot more now. |
