Well this could have sacked.
I left work today @ lunch to run over to GM to see if they had any clearance sales lol. They had a FDE SCAR17 for $3700 and a SAW 249 for $8999. Neither are in my wheelhouse to have ATM. I am looking for a REECE right now. So on my way back, I turn onto Beeline Hey which is notorious for high speeds. I stretch out the legs on my M car out here. I was in my truck today though,luckily. I come over a hill and a plain white F150 is in the median, hmmm. I am doing 81 in a 55 btw as I pass the truck. So he pulls out and it takes a good few miles to catch me, I am like oh fuk me. He hit some hidden LED bullshit in the grill and I pull over . He comes up on my PAX side, and knocks on the window, I did not even see him, I rolled down the window and tell him, the was cool, u snuck up on me, he said yeah it is so I don't start leaking. He goes right for the kill and asks where are my guns. I have a small HK sticker with the 416 on it and a Trijicon..sticker above it in the back window. I tell him I am not armed today as the auto detail guy comes on Thursday at work. Our company gives us free weekly wash/detailing every Thursday and once a month waxing. Pretty nice. So I leave my valuables at home on this day. He then berates me about why am I not armed ?? and goes into a big 2A speech and pro trump. I was like holy shit. He says he is a huge HK fan as well and with that he takes my info and says hold on. 5 mins later he says ..so you have been driving since 1983 and you have a spotless record, be it from me to mess it up. He gave me a written warning , I was clocked 81 in a 55. He said get home and get you guns back on and have a nice day. Csb |

I will say I am in Florida for vacation and you guys do drive like crap. I have seen more accidents in 1 week then in PA. I have seen a few cars flipped over or in the brush off the road. You do have a great gun state. I am packing. Just renewed my FL before I left PA. |

My buddy was driving his T Bird on a 4 lane at 72mph for 2 hours. He pulls onto a state rte with speed limit of 55, but eventually is doing 65. Gets pulled over. Now, this is before the election. Cop comes up and buddy says, you really got me. Cop says why were you speeding? He tells him how he was just not paying attention. He says go ahead and write me a ticket, because everybody knows only Hillary can get away with anything these days. Cop writes warning. |

Drove from Ohio straight through to Camp Lejune to pick up my son, as soon as I made it to Jacksonville, NC. they were running speed traps. 55 in a 45, $203.00 ticket. I had a spotless record. Prick. Had to turn around and drive 12 hours straight back.

Totally believe the 81 in a 55 & getting a warning.
I grew up in FL & if you got behind a ST they did posted, so you did posted. Now you can be doing 80 on 75 & a ST will blow past you like you are standing still. Was back home a month ago & was doing 80 on 75 next to a deputy keeping pace with everyone else. Wasn't the only time & I was only there for a week. Going over the speed limit is the new crack in FL. He probably wanted to see your stash so he could BS with you. Cool cop & CSB. Last time I got pulled over I gave the cop my CCW & he asked "Are you carrying a concealed weapon now?" I said yes & he said, "Ok then, let's keep it that way." |

I love how all the threads where the cop didn't do his job so many people love to say how great the cops are. As if some how not doing their job compensates for the cops that abuse their power. In both cases the cops are not doing the thing they are paid to do. Of course I much rather experience the first option than the second. |

There's also a lifted pickup running around that's an undercover. The headache bar has like 3" holes in it. Very distinctive when you see it. |

State trooper was an ex marine, we bullshit for a while. He thanked me for stopping and said most didn't (I was on a GSXR 1000) and told me have a nice day and sent me on my way. Always fun to find a cool cop. Probably helped I hadn't had a ticket in 15 years too. |

Especially if you get the trooper who was my neighbor back in 97-98. That guy ticketed his own wife. Or Brandon Potter (he's probably on this side). He'll write you up and smile sweetly as he wrecks your record lol. |

Pretty good, considering you were almost going fast enough for a ride to jail.
I do like to give some violators a good-natured hard time about not carrying, when they tell me they have a permit. But I also remind them that THEY, ultimately, are they ones who have to defend themselves, for the most part. |

I got stopped for expired tags, and a tail light out. Couldn't find my insurance card during the stop either. Tags were about 6 months expired. In Iowa I have no duty to tell the cop that I have a gun, but I passed him my permit along with my DL. I figured, put the ball in his court, he can ask if he wants.
He let me go with a warning, not written, just verbal. Only reason my tags were expired is because I completely forgot about renewing them after me and an ex broke up and I had moved, so hadn't updated my address. Bitch probably got the letter reminding to me renew, but oh well. Live and learn, that was my bad. Tail light out, hey, equipment fails, thanks for letting me know! Insurance card, when I got home I went through my trash and found. Moral of the story, don't decide it's a good time to clean out your truck when you've been drinking. I had the 2012 insurance in my car, but had trashed the current 2014 one. Oops.
