I have an interview tomorrow for an ethane unit but have no light ends experience-mostly diesel/kero hydrotreating.  I have been looking for information online but none of it is very detailed and I would like a better understanding of some parts of the process.

How is the temperature in the cold section achieved/controlled?

what pressures and temps are typical in the cold section?

I'm sure that answers to these questions will lead to more questions but this will give me a start.

thanks in advance

I work in sulfur reduction and waste water treatment, so I'm not too much help on light ends.  I would be surprised if they got into that detailed line of questioning for someone who hasn't worked in that process.  Kudos to you for preparing that thoroughly, though.  Good luck!
