I am 62 yrs old, and just got my 1st smart phone 2 weeks ago. I signed up for a twitter account. Yesterday twitter sent me a message that they recommend "someone you may know". It turns out i have known this guy 40 yrs now. I never looked him up, twitter just gave me a unsolicited recommendation. How did tweeter know i 
knew this guy? Did Twitter go into my contact list and find his phone number? I was amazed and frightened that some sort of data base like that is used, we have no privacy. How did Twitter know i knew this guy?
